In high doses, the drug methotrexate can be used to treat an ectopic pregnancy and save a life. But after the Supreme Court ruling overturning Roe v. Wade, patients with leukemia or rheumatic illnesses like lupus and psoriasis are having trouble getting it, because of its status as an abortifiacient.
