1stLook LA Correspondents

Gardner Loulan
Gardner can be seen jumping (literally) in and out of LX.TV segments on LA nightlife, sporting and cultural activities. A California native, Gardner received his Bachelor of Arts in Communications and Media Studies from Fordham University in New York City.

After sneaking into the MTV Video Music Awards in 2001, he and his college roommate created an irreverent video, which circulated the dorms and eventually made its way back to MTV Networks.
Rather than facing arrest, Gardner was hired as on air talent for MTVU. Gardner has spent the past six years traveling extensively across the country to college campuses, hosting, writing and producing a variety of programs. He also directed and co-wrote the feature film “Our Feature Presentation.”
Recently, Gardner relocated to Southern California and is excited about exploring all that Los Angeles has to offer with LX TV!

Watch Gardner’s favorite segment here. Gardner says: “What could be better than a man sharing a pedicure with his mom…?”

Viviana Vigil
A native of LA, Viviana graduated from USC with a degree in Sociology and started a career as a children’s social worker for Los Angeles County. On a fluke, she auditioned for LATV’s Be a VJ contest — a move that turned out to be a life-changing decision that launched her television career.

Shortly after the contest, began hosting, producing and writing for several of LATV’s shows including LATV Live, Instant Request and En la Zona.

Viviana has also worked as a traffic reporter on ABC, and a pop culture expert on A&E’s Biography.

Watch Viviana’s favorite segment here. Viviana says: “The owners of the Cottages were the cutest couple ever. And it was such an interesting place that embodied the Venice Beach culture — environmentally friendly and chic.”
